  • What can I expect in a two bedroom condo?

The condos are privately owned and, as such, are decorated to each owner’s preference. Two bedroom condos have a kitchen, dining area, living room, bathroom and a balcony/patio.
The primary bedroom in each unit has a King size bed ( with the exception of two units which have Queens). The second bedroom will either have two twin beds, a double and twin beds, or a full bed with a set of bunk beds. All bedding and towels are included (Beach towels are available in the office). Each unit has a balcony/patio with table and 4 chairs. Each room has central AC and ceiling fans.

  • What can I expect in studio units and in single units?

Studios are air conditioned and feature fully equipped kitchen with full-size refrigerator, cook top, microwave, and coffee maker; over-sized terraces; king or queen-size beds; TV with DVD/CD player and large bathroom. The Deluxe Single has a small side indented balcony with limited view, queen-size bed and all other amenities as described for the studios. • What time is check in & check out?

Check in: 3:00pm Check out: 11:00am

  • What about safety and security?

Isla Mujeres is generally a very safe place, but we ask that you use caution with your money and your valuables. Each condo has its own safe, which we encourage you to use. We have 24 hour security guards on the premises at each entry point to the grounds.

  • Are there laundry facilities?

Although there are no self-serve laundry facilities on property, we offer next day laundry service through the office for a small fee. There are also several laundromats within walking distance.

  • What is the swimming pool policy?

Our large swimming pool is located between the condos and the beach. It is 4 feet deep. The pool is open until 10 pm, but we ask that all guests be respectful of those who may be sleeping. The Nautibeach pool is exclusively for our guests and owners. Anyone other than a guest or owner will be asked to leave. The blue lounge chairs at the pool and on the beach are for the guests and owners use only. We request that you bring along swimming diapers for your babies or swimming pull ups for your toddlers to wear in the pool.

  • How much does it cost to rent a golf cart?

A golf cart costs $1,500.00 pesos to rent from 9am to 5pm, and $1,600.00 for 24 hours.

  • What clothes should we bring?

Isla Mujeres is a casual island. Bring shorts, t-shirts, bathing suits, cover-ups, sandals, waterproof sun block and a hat and sunglasses – especially for children. From November to March, bring at least one set of warmer clothing and a light jacket for cool evenings.

  • Is it safe to eat in the island restaurants?

Yes, depending on the restaurant. If you have questions, the office staff can recommend good restaurants that use only purified water for making their ice and drinks.

  • Is there a restaurant on property?

The Mayan Beach Club restaurant is adjacent to the pool. It serves breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner every day. The palapa bar is on the beach adjacent to the restaurant. Poolside and beach service is always available.   Try the chicken quesadillas - they are super yummy.

  • Is tap water safe to drink?

The tap water is safe for showering, brushing teeth and washing dishes. We provide purified bottled water in each condo. Please use this purified water for cooking, drinking, and making ice. A small bottle of Microdyne is provided to treat the water to disinfect fruits and vegetables. Inform the staff when you need another 5 gallon bottle of purified water and they will bring one to your condo.

  • Can I make arrangements for activities in advance?

The office staff is available to assist you with renting a golf cart or moped, massages, fishing or snorkeling excursions, scuba diving, swimming with the dolphins, plus many other activities. They can also arrange trips to Isla Contoy or sites such as Tulum on the mainland.

  • Where and how do I exchange money?

Important Notice: The banks and the exchange booths no longer accept Traveler’s checks. Also, the HSBC bank on the island will no longer exchange foreign currency for pesos. Banamex and CI Bank will exchange U.S dollars. We highly recommend the use of an ATM card. Don’t forget your pin number. The money exchanges at the airport offer very poor exchange rates. You can use U.S. currency to pay for the transportation to Isla, any tips you may give, the ticket for the ferry trip to Isla, or taking a taxi to the condos. We recommend that you wait until you reach Isla Mujeres to exchange foreign currency dollars for pesos. There are several money exchange booths in town where you can easily exchange your U.S. currency. In addition, most places on the island will accept US currency. All accept pesos. The HSBC Bank is directly across the street from the ferry dock. They are open Monday through Saturday, and they have two ATM machines. The 7-11 and San Francisco Grocery store also have ATMs. Credit cards are accepted in many restaurants but not all. Currency is still the best method of paying for everything.

  • How do we get from the ferry landing on the Isla side to Nautibeach?

When you arrive at the ferry dock on Isla Mujeres you can turn left and walk the five blocks to Nautibeach. A taxi will cost about $3 US. When you arrive at the condos, you will check in at the onsite office. Official check-in time is 3 P.M. Please provide us with your airline arrival time as we try to have units ready for guests arriving early. If you arrive after the office is closed, the security guard will have your name and will give you the key to your condo. You can register the following morning at the office. Generally it takes about 1½ -2 hours to reach Nautibeach Condos from your arrival time into the Cancun airport.

  • What can we expect when we arrive?

NOTE: All Americans traveling by air or sea need a passport to visit Mexico, Canada and the countries of the Caribbean. For more information please call the U.S. National Passport Information Center. On the plane, you’ll be instructed to fill out a FMT (2-part, tourist visa) and a Customs declaration form. Present the FMT with your passport at Immigration. The officer will stamp both parts with the number of days you can stay in Mexico (usually 30 days or less) and return the 2nd part to you, which you must have to leave Mexico. Reclaim your luggage. Present your declaration form at Customs. You will be asked to push a button – a green light means you can continue on, a red light means they’ll search your luggage.

  • How do we get from the airport to Isla Mujeres?

You will need to obtain transportation from the airport to the UltraMar ferry, located at Grand Puerto. We recommend a private van service. You may reserve your van by contacting nautibeach@nautibeach.com A private taxi directly to Gran Puerto costs approximately $65.00 U.S. (1 – 2 people) and takes 30 -40 minutes to get to the UltraMar ferry dock. Shuttle vans are less expensive, but the ferry dock is usually the last stop, and we cannot guarantee how long the trip will take. The Ultramar ferry from the mainland to Isla Mujeres costs 150 pesos one way or 300 pesos round trip. You can purchase your ticket at the ferry ticket office. USD accepted. The boat crossing takes about 20 minutes. The boats leave and return to Isla every ½ hour until late night.

  • How can I reserve a specific condo?

To determine the type of condo you would like, click on Accommodations and then on each room type (2 bedroom Ocean View, 2 bedroom Garden View, Studio, Single) for photos and information. Since we do not designate condo locations until shortly before your arrival, we cannot guarantee a specific unit. All condos are essentially the same distance from the ocean. If a physical limitation prevents a guest from stair climbing, please inform us at the time you make your reservation, and we will do our best to meet your needs.  Contact us at  1-888-428-8599 or manager@nautibeach.com

  • Do you have cribs/highchairs/baby sitting?

We do not have cribs; however, we do have a “Graco” for your use. A “Graco” is similar to a play pen or portacrib. We also have one high chair. There is no charge for the Graco or high chair, but you must make your request prior to your arrival. Please request by emailing the office directly or at the time of making your reservations. Babysitting service is available but must be requested prior to your arrival by contacting the office by email. Please bring swimming diapers or pull ups for your toddlers when they are in the pool.

  • Do I need an electricity adaptor?

The electrical current is 110/220 – the same as in the U.S. and Canada.

  • What is the pet policy?

No pets are allowed in the condos. There are a few cats on the grounds, but we ask that you do not allow them in your condo.

  • What is the smoking policy?

All condos are Non-Smoking.  Smoking is not allowed at the Penthouse and balcony due to the fire hazard it creates for the palapa.

  • Is there TV/DVD/CD/WIFI?

There is a TV with cable and a few English speaking channels are available. DVDs are available in the office for your use at no charge. WiFi is available in each suite, at the pool-side bar and on-site restaurant.

  • What equipment is in the kitchen?

Kitchens contain the following: microwave, coffee maker, blender, toaster, pots and pans, dishes, glassware, cutlery, full-size refrigerator (except in unit 37) and 2-burner cook top. Purified water is provided.
